NCAA NATIONAL QUALIFIERS

Ryan Fitzpatric (HJ), Chris Brown (Hammer), Shaun Guice (HJ)

Ryan is a sophmore that was the Big Ten runnerup in 2000, both indoors and outdoor. Set a personal best of 7' 2 1/2".

Chris, a junior from Portland, CT, was the Big Ten Weight Champion and NCAA All-American in 2000 with a Big Ten Record toss of 67' 7 1/2". Was also an All-American and Olynpic Trials Qualifier in the Hammer with a lifetime best of 216' 2".

Shaun, Big Ten Freshman of the Year Indoors, was the Big Ten Champion both indoors and outdoors, and then followed up those performances by winning All-American Honors at both NCAA meets. Shaun broke the Purdue School Record indoors with his jump of 7' 3 3/4".

They will all return to Boiler Room next year as they are all underclassman.

THE COACHES

THE GANG!!!

A full posse' that is looking forward to another successful year at Purdue. Chris Spurrier and Ike Olekaibe finish their eligibility, but have certainly left their marks on the record books before they left. Look forward to seeing more records being shattered and the expectations elevated as the Boilers get ready to heat it up in 2001.
